Industry Certification
The Cisco Networking Academy Program certifications are industry certifications. They are based on requirements set forth by a professional organization outside of the Networking Academy community.
Lab
The online curriculum includes physical or virtual hands-on learner interactions to meet skills-based learning objectives.
Lab Equipment
The lab "bundle" includes network equipment donated, leased, or sold to an Academy by Cisco or any associated entity for the purpose of conducting Cisco Networking Academy Program lab exercises.

Local Academy (LA)
An institution with a Local Academy offers the Cisco Networking Academy Program to its students.
